Prince Edward is expected to visit Ghana Monday through Thursday to participate in a ceremony honoring young Ghanians who have participated in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award scheme.
The program aims to give 14-to 24-year-olds personal development tools by providing a set of challenges structured around informal education. The award is part of the Head of State Awards and began in 1986.
Prince Edward and Ghanian President John Dramani Mahama will present the awards to young Ghanaians who have completed the program.
