Police Constable Jordana Peters of the Royal St Helena Police Service has received the International 'Women in Policing Network' Leader of the Future Award. This accolade acknowledges her dedication, community involvement, and leadership prospects.
The award was presented by Acting Chief of Police Peter Lansdown during a virtual ceremony held in HE the Governor’s Office on April 10, 2025. The event included participation from other British Overseas Territories’ awardees and representatives.
Since joining the St Helena Police Service after high school at 18, Constable Peters has shown professionalism in serving her community. She has maintained a balanced approach to policing in a familiar setting, handling both reactive and proactive duties with integrity.
She is pursuing her Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award, enhancing skills in shooting and archery, which may benefit her policing career.
Constable Peters aims to become Chief of Police and supports the Women in Policing network. Her potential and commitment position her as a promising leader on St Helena.
