Former Trafigura Business Developer and Trading Operations Manager Sebastian Wagner is launching a new consulting firm focused on oil and gas projects in west and central Africa.
DMWA Resources will focus on providing oil industry-specific insight and financial advice to multinational companies.
“DMWA Resources is a knowledge and relationship-driven oil and gas
advisory firm,” DMWA Resources Executive Director Sebastian Wagner said. “Our
African-specific expertise provides a strong platform to showcase our
value in the markets where we seek to provide advisory services, acquire
prospective acreages and specialize in the resale of crude oil, natural
gas and refined products. We assist our private sector partners in the
industry’s ongoing consolidation, as well as our governmental clients in
their financial and knowledge-based recapitalization.”
The group will look to increase its profile and build some recognition by hosting a reception of African oil minister, financial companies, and other industry officials at the
Africa Oil & Power Conference
in Cape Town in June. Wagner will also represent the company in a presentation on common causes of success and failure in African oil and gas projects.
