His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio, alongside First Lady Dr. Fatima Maada Bio and their family, hosted a feeding program in Bo City for orphans, physically challenged individuals, and vulnerable groups. The event included beneficiaries from 17 orphanages and aged homes across the municipality.

Dr. Fatima Maada Bio expressed gratitude to members of Parliament, teachers, caregivers, and families for supporting vulnerable children. She emphasized the President's dedication to the welfare of physically challenged individuals even before his presidency.

“The President’s presence here is to celebrate with you, restore your hope, and remind you that your status does not define your potential," said the First Lady.

President Bio praised Hon. Massay Ngahinteh Aruna for coordinating the event and thanked teachers and caregivers for their service. He encouraged children to take advantage of the Free Quality Education initiative: “There is nothing wrong with you mentally or physically."

The President reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to inclusivity: “You are the future of Sierra Leone."

Madiana Suma, representing the orphans, thanked President Bio for his support and highlighted the impact of the Free Quality Education initiative. She also praised the First Lady's "Hands Off Our Girls" campaign.

The program concluded with distributing rice, soap, and other essentials to beneficiaries.
