President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. has announced the new members of the Board of Directors for the Liberia Revenue Authority (LRA). The appointees include Mr. David Vinton as Chairman, with Madam Mauree Shaw and Madam Eyvonne Bright Dennis serving as members. Other board members represent key government ministries, including Finance & Development Planning, Justice, and Commerce. The Commissioner General will serve as Secretary to the Board.
The appointments require confirmation by the Liberian Senate for non-statutory members. President Boakai emphasized the importance of diligence and integrity in public service: "President Boakai calls on appointed officials of government to continue to demonstrate diligence, commitment, integrity, professionalism, and loyalty in service to country."
