President Bio oversees oath-taking for new Deputy Minister of Justice

Sierra Leone's President Julius Maada Bio presided over the oath-taking ceremony for the newly appointed Deputy Minister of Justice, Madam Saptieu Elizabeth Saccoh, at State House in Freetown. Following her appointment, Madam Saccoh expressed gratitude to President Bio for his trust and confidence in her abilities to serve in this capacity. She pledged her commitment to duty and promised to work diligently to advance the Ministry of Justice's mandate.

"I will work closely with my immediate boss, the Minister of Justice, to ensure we effectively deliver on our responsibilities," she stated. Madam Saccoh also affirmed her support for the government and people of Sierra Leone.

President Bio congratulated Madam Saccoh and highlighted the significant responsibilities associated with her new position. He acknowledged that while tasks would be delegated by the Minister of Justice, he had full confidence in her competence and ability to tackle forthcoming challenges.

"A lot has been achieved, but there is still much work to be done. You can count on my full support as you take on this important role," President Bio assured.

The ceremony was attended by senior government officials, members of the judiciary, and other dignitaries.
