The Office of the President has announced that President Adama Barrow has declared December 25th and 26th, 2024, as public holidays in observance of Christmas and Boxing Day. Additionally, January 1st, 2025, will be a public holiday to celebrate New Year's Day.
President Barrow extends his wishes to Gambians both at home and abroad for a "joyous Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year."
