Nigerian Breweries Plc has announced the appointment of Ayodele Alabi as Head of Integrated Communications. This decision was confirmed in a statement by Sade Morgan, Corporate Affairs Director at Nigerian Breweries Plc, and is effective immediately.
Alabi brings 12 years of experience in various aspects of corporate communications, including strategic planning, media relations, stakeholder management, and sustainability programs. Her academic background includes a first-class degree in Communications from Covenant University and a Master's degree in Business Management from the University of Lagos.
Before joining Nigerian Breweries, Alabi worked with Guinness Nigeria Plc for over five years as head of the Corporate Communications and Employee Experience unit. Her career began at Globalcom Nigeria before she moved to Unilever Nigeria through their Future Leaders Programme, where she held several roles over six years.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Alabi is also known as a corporate compere and creative writer with a published book. She has been recognized for her work with several awards, such as being named one of 9to5Chick’s top 100 leading career women in Nigeria in 2022 and receiving the Most Valuable Outstanding Indigenous Perception Manager Of The Year award at the Young Achievers Nigeria Awards.
Alabi's new role will leverage her extensive experience across telecommunications and manufacturing sectors to enhance Nigerian Breweries' communication strategies.
