The annual Athletics Day for primary schools is scheduled to take place on April 23, 2025, at Francis Plain. The event, open to parents, guardians, and the public, will commence at 09:45 and conclude around 14:30.

In a statement regarding the event, the primary sector emphasized the need for spectators to follow certain guidelines to ensure child safety. "No pets will be allowed on Francis Plain for this event," noted the organizers. Furthermore, access to the field during the event will be restricted to appointed marshals, helpers, invited guests, and school team leaders. Photography on the field will also be limited to school-appointed photographers.

Additional guidelines include a ban on alcohol and restrictions on smoking throughout Francis Plain during the event. "Persons wishing to smoke must do so outside of the Francis Plain and school premises," with a designated smoking area "away from the school along Watercourse Road."

Attendees are reminded to dispose of all litter in the bins provided to maintain the cleanliness of the venue.
