Switzerland-based inspection and certification company Cotecna recently renewed its hybrid network contract with Paris-based Orange Business Services, allowing Cotecna to keep remote sites throughout Africa and the world connected.
“Orange Business Services has an excellent global footprint, with a specific focus on Africa," Laurent Vouriot, Cotecna's head of IT infrastructure and operations, said. "Seamless global communication, especially in hard-to-reach locations, is key for us. Furthermore, Orange also met our expectations in regard to being as cost-effective as possible. Their tailored design met all of our needs."
Africa connectivity was a major part of Cotecna's five-year digital transformation strategy, and it expanded its customer base to include more private-sector customers. Orange Business Solutions has been instrumental in getting Cotecna's services and products into Burkina Faso and Senegal.
“The extension of Cotecna’s hybrid network contract demonstrates our global expertise, particularly with very remote locations," Anne-Sophie Lotgering, senior vice president for Europe, Russia and CIS, Orange Business Services, said. "The continued excellent partnership between both companies will enable Cotecna to expand their business on a global scale, support them for both their public and private customers, and help them reduce their costs.”
