Telecom services in Mali are forecast to generate $789 billion in revenue this year, according to a report posted by Hexa Research, Inc. on Sept. 22.
Mobile voice will be the major contributor for revenue in the mobile service industry, and the growing adoption and usage of low-cost smartphones and value-added services will drive mobile data growth.

Over the 2015-2020 forecast period, mobile voice revenue will continue to grow at a healthy rate, although mobile data will be the fastest -growing segment.
Pyramid Research expects 3G subscriptions to reach 5.5 million, or 16.2 percent of total mobile subscriptions, in 2020, up from 1.2 million or 4.5 percent in 2015. LTE subscriptions are projected to reach 1 million by the end of 2020, accounting for 3.1 percent of total mobile subscriptions.
