A major mobile operations corporation in the Ivory Coast has selected Swedish telecommunications provider Seamless to put in place a necessary transaction switch for $2 million.
Seamless, which serves customers mainly in Africa, the Middle East and South America, will provide the Ivory Coast company with the information technology and logistics services necessary for the installation of the switch.
“We are proud and happy to be able to communicate that our core business continues to grow with this record deal, in a new market for us," Seamless CEO Peter Fredell said. "This once again proves that we have a strong position in the market and are continuing to grow both in Africa as a market and within telecom as an industry."
The new switch will enable operators at the Ivory Coast company to control and manage all airtime and data recharges in its network.
