President Boakai Leads Delegation to the US-Africa Business Summit in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas

The President of Liberia, H.E. Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., will be at the forefront as he leads the Official Liberian delegation to the US-Africa Business Summit in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas from May 6-9, 2024. This summit aims to foster discussions on enhancing trade and economic partnerships between Africa and the United States.

The delegation's objective is clear as they aim to attract investments and partnerships that will significantly contribute to Liberia’s economic growth. Highlighting the importance of this participation, it is stated that Liberia’s involvement in the summit will not only strengthen its bilateral relations with the United States but also position the country as a key business hub in West Africa.

In addition to the summit in Texas, President Boakai will extend his visit to Atlanta, Georgia, from May 10-13, 2024, where he will engage with investors, business leaders, and friends of Liberia. This further demonstrates the President's commitment to driving economic progress and improving the lives of the Liberian people through strategic partnerships and engagements.

During the President's absence, the Minister of State for Presidential Affairs and Chief of Staff, Honorable Sylvester M. Grigsby, will oversee matters in consultation with the Vice President and maintain communication with President Boakai.

The President and his delegation are expected to return on May 15, 2024, following their engagements in the United States.
