CPhI, a global events portfolio company focused on pharmaceuticals, recently partnered with Africa's largest pharmaceutical exhibition, the Africa Pharmaceutical Summit (APS).
The APS was first held in 2013 and includes an exhibition, summit and networking opportunities.
The pharmaceutical market in Africa has grown steadily over the past several years; it is projected to grow to a $40 billion industry by 2020.
"We are delighted to partner with CPhI," Miles Mudzviti, founder and CEO of PharmaAfrica, said. "This partnership means that with the combination of our strengths, together, CPhI and APS are better able to provide a route into, and serve our respective and common partners in the growing African markets."
This year's APS is set for Feb. 24 and Feb. 25 and will take place at the Safari Park Hotel in Nairobi, Kenya. The event is sponsored by Kenya's Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Industrialization and Enterprise Development.
