Smokefree St Helena has launched a new online referral system aimed at simplifying access to smoking cessation support. This system is intended to quicken the process for those looking to quit smoking.

Smokefree St Helena offers stop-smoking services that include behavioral support and a broad range of Nicotine Replacement Therapies (NRT). "All clients utilising the Smokefree St Helena service will be provided with NRT," a statement from the organization confirmed. Additionally, trained practitioners are available to provide personalized guidance to assist individuals in their goal to become smoke-free.

The stop-smoking initiative follows a six-week program that features weekly support sessions. During these sessions, clients can discuss their progress, address any challenges they encounter, and receive advice on medication management from their practitioner.

Potential clients can sign up for the Smokefree St Helena program and its NRT offerings through the newly available online system by visiting a specific URL or by scanning the accessible QR code. Upon form submission, a practitioner will reach out to schedule an appointment.
