In a recent meeting between the Republic of Guinea President Alpha Conde and members of the Saudi business sector at the Council of Saudi Chambers (CSC), economic cooperation was explored.
President Conde spoke to investors from Saudi Arabia about Guinea's investment opportunities in the areas of mining, manufacturing, agriculture, tourism, hospitality and infrastructure.
In response, the CSC Chairperson, Dr. Abdulrahman Al Zamil, expressed his nation's interest in bilateral trade relations with Guinea and conceived an idea for a forum, where their respective economic and investment potential could be explored.
President Conde also shared the different countries that are already doing business with his nation, including the United States, China, the Arab Emirates and Vietnam, and expressed that his country's Single-Window system encouraged investment in his country.
By the end of the meeting, CSC Secretary General Khalid Al Otaiby pushed for the signing of a memorandum of understanding to officially begin Guinea-Saudi relations.
