The Special Head of the United Nations Office of West Africa Mohamed Ibn Chambas announced Wednesday that he is looking forward to Senegal's efforts to reform its constitution.
With Senegal being a stable democracy in Africa, Chambas indicated that he is eager to see the nation go through the reformation process, particularly since it has shown that it is dedicated to improving many of the institutions that are already in place.
Chambas advised the West African nation that the reforms should be inclusive, with all involved parties participating calmly in the process.
Over the course of the reforms, the United Nations will be working alongside the Senegalese government and authorities to ensure the reforms proceed smoothly in a conflict-free manner.
