Best Western Hotels & Resorts opened two new hotels in Nigeria last month, bringing the company's total operations in West Africa to 11.
"With these two locations close to the Niger River and main Federal Highways, the Best Western Meloch Hotel and the Best Western Plus Elomaz Hotel offer modern and comfortable Best Western quality hotels in Nigeria's heartland," Best Western Hotels & Resorts Senior Vice President of International Operations Suzi Yoder said.
The Best Western Meloch Hotel is a three star hotel in the government district of Awka marketed toward business travelers. It has several amenities, such as an on-site restaurant, complementary breakfast, air conditioning, free wireless Internet, a pool, cocktail lounge, fitness center and spa.
Best Western Plus Elomaz Hotel in Asaba is made up of 81 Executive Double and Executive Double Plus rooms and features similar amenities with a more stylized and modern decor.
"With these two recent openings, there are now 11 Best Western branded hotels in West Africa and with a very robust pipeline, we will continue expanding our footprint in this region in 2016,” Yoder said.
The two new hotels are among the more than 4,100 hotels operated under the Best Western brand in more than 100 countries.
