Nigeria-based online retailer Jumia is set to make its third Black Friday in business its best one yet.
Black Friday this year falls on Nov. 27.
"Our projections for this Black Friday 2015 are surpassing anything we could have hoped for only a year ago," Fatoumata Ba, managing director of Jumia Nigeria, said. "The traction we are observing on Jumia for Black Friday is unprecedented, with 100 times more traffic on the website than a year ago at the same time."
Jumia has partnered with more than 1,000 brands and vendors to offer sales on 10,000 products.
"You will be able to find the latest smartphones for the price of a blender," Ba said. "This year’s Black Friday will mark, we are certain of it, a turning point in the history of online retail in Nigeria."
