St Helena Government has launched the "Better Health 2025" campaign to encourage residents to adopt healthier lifestyles in the new year. The initiative promotes overall well-being and emphasizes that health is more than just weight loss.

"Make 2025 your fresh start!" is the slogan of the campaign, which invites individuals to set personal goals tailored to their specific health needs. These goals might include reducing blood sugar levels, increasing fruit and vegetable intake, drinking more water, minimizing added sugar consumption, and decreasing sedentary time.

The campaign includes a 12-week plan designed to help participants lose an average of 5.8 kg. This plan offers guidance on setting realistic weight loss goals, planning nutritious meals, making healthier food choices, increasing physical activity, and tracking progress while celebrating successes.

"Better Health 2025" also provides comprehensive support through behavior change strategies, access to valuable tools and resources, and ongoing assistance from the Health Promotion team.
