Ayuli Jemide of Nigeria, lead partner at Detail Commercial Solicitors, recently was named a member of the International Project Finance Association (IPFA) West Africa Branch Council.
Jemide is one of Nigeria's most-sought-after public/private partnership (PPP) and infrastructure attorneys. Jemide has been in practice for over 20 years, working on many infrastructure transactions throughout Nigeria.
"I have been a member of the IPFA for several years and have gained a lot from IPFA’s events and networking opportunities," Jemide said. "Therefore, this is a good opportunity to give back to IPFA’s activities in West Africa.”
In his new role, Jemide will help develop policies and strategies for the group's West Africa branch, help organize IPFA events and maintain contact with members.
IPFA is made up of professionals from law firms, financial institutions and construction companies, as well as project sponsors. The group is dedicated to providing those in the finance sector with educational opportunities, as well as educating the public at large
IPFA members work in tandem with government officials, senior professionals, development banks around the world and financial institutions across the globe.
