Polling Day for the 2025 General Election has been set for Wednesday, 3 September 2025. Polling Stations will operate from 10:00 to 19:00 across several venues on the island.
Employers are reminded of their obligations under the Elections Ordinance, 2009. The law requires that employees must be given a reasonable period of time to vote without any deduction from their pay or other remuneration. No penalty should be imposed on employees who take time off to vote. Employers who do not comply with this requirement commit an offence and may face a fine of £1,000 or imprisonment for six months, or both.
The designated Polling Stations are St Mary’s Church the Briars for the Alarm Forest Electoral District, Blue Hill Community Centre, Half Tree Hollow Community Centre, Jamestown Community Centre, Levelwood Clinic, Harford Community Centre, Sandy Bay Community Centre, and Kingshurst Community Centre.
Voters are required to cast their ballots at the Polling Station in the Electoral District where they are registered.
