Six ambassadors present credentials to President Boakai at Executive Mansion

President Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr. of Liberia received Letters of Credence from six Ambassadors at the Executive Mansion on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. The presentation signifies recognition of Liberia’s leadership in the international community.

During separate ceremonies and meetings, President Boakai expressed gratitude to each Ambassador for their country’s trust in his administration. He reaffirmed his commitment to working closely with them to further his government’s agenda. The President emphasized the importance of maintaining longstanding relationships between Liberia and the respective countries, acknowledging their contributions to global peace and security.

The Ambassadors who presented their Letters of Credence were:
1. H.E. Daniel Mahongo, Ambassador of Zambia
2. H.E. Usra Hendra Harahap, MIS, Ambassador of Indonesia
3. H.E. Ursula Fahringer, Ambassador of Austria
4. H.E. Saad Bin Bakheat Alquthami, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia
5. H.E. Huseyin Gungor, Ambassador of Turkey
6. H.E. Rosemary Mbabazi, Ambassador of Rwanda

In response to President Boakai’s toasts, the envoys expressed appreciation for the warm welcome extended by the Liberian Government and pledged to collaborate effectively in advancing its goals.

Ambassador Saad Bin Bakheat Alquthami highlighted Saudi Arabia’s commitment to supporting Liberia’s development initiatives in health, education, infrastructure, and agriculture.

The presentation formalizes diplomatic relations between countries and affirms the diplomatic status of Ambassadors while fostering effective communication and cooperation globally.

Today’s event marks a total of thirteen Ambassadors presenting their letters over two days, reflecting foreign governments’ strong willingness to engage with Liberia across various sectors.

The Government of Liberia remains committed to strengthening diplomatic ties and fostering mutually beneficial partnerships with the international community.
