The 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly is set to begin on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, with the opening of the General Assembly Debate. Sierra Leone’s President Julius Maada Bio and Ireland’s Prime Minister Simon Harris will co-chair an interactive dialogue on “Enhancing Multilateralism for International Cooperation.”

In a statement, President Bio emphasized the importance of global cooperation. “We must work together to address the challenges that face our world today,” he said.

Prime Minister Harris echoed this sentiment, stating, “International cooperation is more critical than ever as we navigate complex global issues.”

The event aims to foster discussions on strengthening multilateral efforts in addressing international concerns.
