President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., has dedicated the newly constructed 14th Judicial Circuit Court Complex in Cestos City, Rivercess County. The event saw attendance from several dignitaries, including members of the Legislature, Chief Justice Sie A Nyene G. Yuoh and judiciary members, Cabinet officials, county authorities, municipal leaders of Cestos City, media representatives, and other distinguished guests.

In his address, President Boakai reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to strengthening democracy and reinforcing the rule of law. He emphasized the significance of the new judicial complex in decentralizing governance and devolving power to a broader segment of the population.

The President highlighted the Government’s A.R.R.E.S.T. Agenda, which focuses on the rule of law and coordination between government branches. He reiterated the Executive Branch’s dedication to working closely with the Judiciary to empower and support the judicial system. “We are committed to a just and equitable dispensation of justice within the realm of rule of law,” he stated.

President Boakai also called for greater coordination among government branches to address issues such as corruption and abuse of power. He made a plea for collective efforts in sanitizing the nation and fostering a new mindset for nation-building.

Concluding his speech, President Boakai called for unity and building trust in Liberia’s judicial system. The dedication of this judicial complex is seen as a significant step towards promoting justice, equality, and good governance underpinned by the A.R.R.E.S.T. Agenda.
