President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. has announced several new appointments in the Liberian government. The changes affect key institutions including the Ministry of Justice, the Liberia Broadcasting System, and Grand Gedeh University.
Counselor J. Augustine Toe has been named Deputy Minister for Codification at the Ministry of Justice. Mrs. Kadiatu D. Konteh-Brohiri will serve as Deputy Director General for Administration at the Liberia Broadcasting System. Counselor Kanio Bai Gbala has been appointed to the Board of Trustees at Grand Gedeh University, representing the Grand Gedeh Bar Association.
The statement from the Executive Mansion noted: “The appointments are in continuation of moves by the Liberian Leader to reinforce institutional functioning, engendering desired outcomes to spur national advancement. The appointments are subject to Senate Confirmation where applicable.”
