President Boakai announces new government appointments across multiple agencies

President Joseph Nyuma Boakai has announced several new appointments to key government positions in Liberia. The appointments, which are subject to confirmation where required, include roles across various agencies and the judiciary.

At the Liberia Airport Authority (LAA), Mrs. Shoanna Cachelle Solomon has been named as a member of the Board of Directors.

For the National Center for the Coordination of Response Mechanism (NCCRM), Mr. Arthur Bestman will serve as Executive Director, while Madam Sophie M.P. Reeves is appointed Deputy Executive Director.

Cllr. B. Rachell Yabah-Duobah has been designated Officer-in-Charge at the National Bureau of Concessions (NBC).

The National Commission on Higher Education (NCHE) will have Rev. Monen J. Duoe as its Officer-in-Charge.

In the Judiciary Branch, Cllr. Kuku Y. Dorbor has been appointed Judge for Criminal Court “E” in the 1st Judicial Circuit, Montserrado County.

“These appointments reflect President Boakai’s continued commitment to strengthening governance institutions, promoting accountability, and ensuring effective service delivery across all sectors,” according to a statement from the Executive Mansion.

The President also conveyed his best wishes to those newly appointed as they begin their duties serving Liberia.
