His Excellency President Dr. Julius Maada Bio, along with First Lady Dr. Fatima Maada Bio, has departed Sierra Leone for Liberia to attend the 68th Anniversary of the Armed Forces of Liberia. The event will take place on February 11, 2025, at the Barclay Training Centre in Liberia.
President Bio is visiting Liberia following an invitation from His Excellency Joseph Nyuma Boakai Sr., the President of Liberia. He will serve as Special Guest and Keynote Speaker at this national event.
The ceremony honors the Armed Forces of Liberia and acknowledges the commitment and sacrifices made by military personnel. This year’s theme is “Sustaining Our Peace and Security Through Stakeholder Engagement: The Role of the Armed Forces.”
