President Julius Maada Bio of Sierra Leone addressed the GAVI Global Summit in Brussels, Belgium on June 25, 2025. During his speech, he highlighted the importance of immunization for health and prosperity.
In addition to his participation at the summit, President Bio recently met with Joao Cravinho, the European Union Special Representative for the Sahel. The meeting took place in Brussels on June 24, 2025.
Earlier in the month, President Bio assumed the Chairmanship of the Authority of Heads of State and Government. This event occurred in Abuja, Nigeria on June 21, 2025.
