Jallow, and his team at the State House in Banjul. The meeting was a gesture of gratitude from the OMVG delegation to President Barrow for nominating Mr. Jallow to the position and to seek his guidance in their new roles.

During the meeting, President Barrow expressed his pleasure at The Gambia’s assumption of the High Commissioner position and highlighted the significance of advancing the OMVG’s agenda, which is essential for African integration. He acknowledged the ongoing efforts of the OMVG electricity project, from which member states benefit, and stressed the importance of ensuring its sustainability.
