Health care needs in many African nations are increasing at a rapid rate.
Such is the case for Nigeria and Kenya.
To address concerns about those needs, the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) recently hosted a business briefing in Minneapolis, Minnesota, which brought together delegates from the Nigeria & Kenya Healthcare Technologies Reverse Trade Mission and representatives from U.S. health care companies, who learned about market demand for their products in these African nations.
“Given the current state of health care infrastructure, evolving regulatory and procurement policies, and the introduction of new financing approaches, U.S. vendors will need to better understand the business and policy environments in Nigeria and Kenya, as they are among the most promising African health care markets,” the Nigeria & Kenya Healthcare Technologies Reverse Trade Mission said in a statement.
The USTDA is dedicated to helping companies create jobs in the U.S. through the exporting of U.S. goods and services, mainly in priority development projects in growing economies.
