MTN Ghana marked Valentine’s Day 2026 with a series of social media posts highlighting its participation in the “Save A Life” blood donation campaign. The company, led by CEO Stephen Blewett, used its platform to encourage blood donation as an act of love and community support.

In a post dated February 13, 2026, MTN Ghana shared a message from its chief executive: “Our CEO, @StephenBlewett, has a special Valentine’s message for You! #MTNSaveALife https://t.co/lDvinerQaA”. Later that morning, the company reported on its collaboration with CalBank PLC at the launch event for the Save A Life initiative. The tweet read: “We are with our neighbours, @CalBankPLC this morning for the Save A Life launch — we are donating blood today to save lives across the country. The best gift you can get this Valentine. #MTNSaveALife https://t.co/VuwjZQPkDL”.

Another post on February 13 emphasized the spirit behind their actions: “A day where we show love, a day where we go all out to save lives — this is our love gift to You! #MTNSaveALife https://t.co/zkVDPTZzpl”.

Blood donation drives like MTN Ghana’s “Save A Life” campaign are regularly organized in Ghana as part of efforts to address shortages in blood banks and promote voluntary donation among citizens. Such initiatives often coincide with public holidays or significant dates like Valentine’s Day to leverage themes of giving and compassion.
