MTN Ghana highlights charity work and community events in December tweets

MTN Ghana, a major telecommunications provider in Ghana, recently highlighted its involvement in both community engagement and charitable activities through a series of social media posts.

On December 17, 2025, the company invited its audience to participate in an entertainment initiative by posting, “We have tickets for you — just tell us who you’d want to watch the movie with tomorrow. #MTNPulse #MTNPulseMoviemania”.

Later that week, MTN Ghana used its platform to publicize a philanthropic effort. On December 19, 2025, the company stated, “The Y’ello Ladies Network at MTN Ghana donated to Breast Care International and the Breast Cancer Unit of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital to support breast cancer awareness and patient care. The initiative was funded through contributions from partners, stakeholders, and staff during”.

That same day, Antoinette Kwofie, Chairlady of the Y’ello Ladies Network at MTN Ghana, explained the organization’s motivation behind this health-focused donation. In her words: “Antoinette Kwofie, Chairlady of the Y’ello Ladies Network at MTN Ghana, shares the motivation behind our breast cancer donation and our commitment to continued awareness and patient support.”

MTN Ghana is recognized as one of the largest mobile network operators in Ghana and has an established record of supporting local communities through social responsibility initiatives.
