President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr. has suspended Rostalyn Suakoko Dennis, the President and CEO of the National Oil Company of Liberia (NOCAL). This decision comes after a resolution from NOCAL’s Board of Directors recommended her suspension and an investigation into unspecified allegations.

Madam Dennis is required to hand over all government properties in her possession to an interim team led by Fabian Michael Lai, NOCAL’s Vice President for Operations. Mr. Lai will oversee the company’s operations during this period.

The Government of Liberia emphasizes its commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance, especially in managing the country’s natural resources. An investigation into the allegations against Madam Dennis has been initiated.
