President Joseph Nyuma Boakai Receives Letters of Credence From Seven Ambassadors

Executive Mansion, Monrovia – President Joseph Nyuma Boakai, Sr., accepted the Letters of Credence from seven distinguished ambassadors at his Executive Mansion Office. The diplomats hailed from Ireland, Guinea, Namibia, Hungary, Burundi, Czech Republic, and Sri Lanka.
In separate ceremonies featuring conversations with the ambassadors, President Boakai conveyed his appreciation for their presence and extended gratitude to their respective Heads of State for entrusting them with diplomatic roles in Liberia. He underscored the significance of the strong bilateral relationships between Liberia and these nations, expressing his commitment to fortify these ties throughout his tenure.
Notably, he welcomed the Guinean Ambassador and emphasized the importance of collaboration with neighboring countries within the Mano River Union (MRU) to foster prosperity, peace, and security. Furthermore, President Boakai highlighted Liberia’s dedication to promoting peace and fostering open relations with all nations.
The ambassadors conveyed their countries’ eagerness to collaborate with the Liberian Government in advancing developmental initiatives encompassing agriculture, security, water supply, healthcare, and governance. The formal presentation of Letters of Credence solidifies strengthened diplomatic alliances between the participating countries.
The diplomats who presented their Letters of Credence are as follows: H.E. Gerard Considine, Ambassador of Ireland; H.E. Aboubacar Sylla, Ambassador of Guinea; Mrs. Selma Ashipala-Musavyi, Ambassador of Namibia; H.E. Tamas Endre Feher, Ambassador of Hungary; H.E. Edouard Nduwimana, Ambassador of Burundi; H.E. Pavel Bilek, Ambassador of Czech Republic; and H.E. Veluppillai Kananathan, Ambassador of Sri Lanka.
This occasion marks a pivotal moment in reinforcing meaningful relations with Liberia’s international partners.
