Kiribati and Senegal recently made their intended nationally determined contributions (INDCs), controlling emissions in the energy, maritime and coastal sectors,  in the face of the upcoming Paris Climate Change Conference that will take place between November and December.

The INDCs contributions target the energy, forestry, land use, waste, industry and agriculture sectors. For their part, while Senegal has submitted its mitigation activities, Kribati has also agreed to reduce their greenhouse emissions.

Senegal and Kribati are two of 81 countries that have officially submitted their INDCs. Any other country that submits their contribution by October 1 will also be added to the synthesis report that will be produced by November 1.
