Executive council reviews development applications in upcoming planning authority session

Two development applications have been forwarded to the Executive Council, which is acting as the Planning Authority. This referral is in line with Section 23(2)(b) of the Land Planning and Development Control Ordinance 2013.

An open session meeting will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM. The Executive Council will review two specific applications during this session:

– Change of Use from Residential Care Home to House of Multiple Occupation (HMO) at Barn View, Longwood
– Addition of a Balcony and Verandah with a Secondary Means of Escape at the Yacht Club, The Wharf, Jamestown

The Executive Council acting as the Planning Authority includes Governor Nigel Phillips as Chair, Chief Minister Julie Thomas, and Ministers Christine Scipio, Martin Henry, Mark Brooks, and Jeffrey Ellick. The Acting Attorney General participates as a non-voting member.
