President Joseph Boakai has signed the Book of Condolence for the late Senator Sumo Kupee of Lofa County. The event took place at the Rotunda of the National Legislature, where President Boakai joined family members, government officials, and citizens to honor Senator Kupee’s life and contributions.

Senator Kupee was a respected leader from Lofa County who dedicated his life to public service. He tirelessly advocated for the development and well-being of his community and Liberia as a whole. His leadership left a lasting impact on both Lofa County and its people.

In his tribute, President Boakai expressed deep sorrow over Senator Kupee’s passing, highlighting his dedication to public service and love for Liberia. “Senator Kupee was not only a colleague but a friend and a man of honor who stood firm in his convictions,” President Boakai stated. “His contributions to the Liberian people will be remembered, and his legacy will continue to inspire future generations.”

The ceremony was attended by members of the legislature, government officials, and dignitaries who gathered to express their condolences to Senator Kupee’s family.

President Boakai extended heartfelt sympathies to the family and people of Lofa County during this time of mourning.
