Nigerian airline Arik Air normalized its flights to Monrovia, Liberia, on Oct. 5 after it was initially suspended in 2014 due to the Ebola outbreak in the West African country.
With the resumed service, customers will have access to three flights during the week with departure from Lagos and Ghana’s capital, Accra, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
“We are pleased to welcome back our passengers on the Lagos-Monrovia route, and want to assure them that their safety and security is always our top priority,” Arik Air’s Deputy Managing Director/Senior Vice President of Operations
Ado Sanusi said.
A Boeing 737-700 Next Generation (NG) aircraft will be used for the destination and will offer 12 seats for business class and 112 in economy class.
