During Senegal's recent Next Einstein Global Gathering, innovation and science in Africa -- with Johnson & Johnson at the helm -- was discussed.

In attendance was not only various African governments but also policy makers.

Johnson & Johnson has been working to develop scientific resources around the world with their DREAMS Innovation Program, where they work with countries and resources to find solutions to health challenges.

Additionally, the World Federation of Science Journalists African Science program was also recently created to keep scientists around Africa up to date with current health news.

Finally, the New York Academy of Sciences Global STEM Alliance is collaborating with women and girls in African countries to provide them with access to important education.

It is hoped that with global talent and the assistance of companies like Johnson & Johnson, health care can improve, not only in Africa, but around the world.
