Catchpoint installs monitoring nodes in Africa
The new African nodes were installed in Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda and Botswana.
With that expansion, the company operates more than 500 nodes all over the world. The new node coverage was necessitated by customer demand for better digital user features and usability.
“Our growth is driven by customer demand, with most telling us they need more global coverage,” Catchpoint founder and CEO Mehdi Daoudi said. “By building the world’s largest node network, we can help companies future-proof their infrastructure investments. We’ll continue to invest in our network as customers’ needs evolve.”
With the expansion, Catchpoint customers can access such features and programs as IBM Softlayer, Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS and Google Cloud.
Catchpoint's monitoring locations are the widest of any in the world geographically. Using Catchpoint technology, customers can identify problem sources and remedy them before users are affected.
Catchpoint specializes in services for digital businesses as an end-user experience monitoring (EUM) platform. More information is available online at www.catchpoint.com/freetrial.
