MK Productions to distribute Natcom health content throughout Africa

Multi-platform production and distribution company Natcom entered into a deal with MK Productions Wednesday to provide major mobile operators in Africa access to its healthy living content.

Consumers throughout the continent, including those in Nigeria, will be able to watch short-form videos on numerous health-related topics, including fitness, nutrition and wellness.

"Our agreement with MK Productions immediately enables us to expand our growing global distribution to approximately 150 million subscribers in South Africa and Nigeria," Natcom CEO Robert Rodriguez said. "We have a long-standing expertise and impeccable reputation in health, wellness and lifestyle content. It is our goal to continue expanding our global reach to educate, entertain, and inspire viewers around the world to live a healthy lifestyle."

In addition to Africa, Natcom's health content will be accessible to mobile subscribers in India and the Middle East. Among the MK Productions clients that will be the first to publish the content are South Africa-based mobile telecommunication company MTN, UAE-based mobile operator Etisalat and the world's third largest mobile operator Bharti Airtel.

"We're excited to have Natcom onboard with their product lineup of health, wellness and consumer tech content," MK Productions CEO Moshe Rubin said. "We believe Natcom's content will do very well with our network of partners."
