EM&I team begins baseline work on FPSO project bound for Ghana

An international team from EM&I Group is preparing to begin baseline work on a floating production storage and offloading (FPSO) project in offshore Ghana.

"This is a significant project for one of our most important clients who chose EM&I because of our technical and high-quality offering and our ability to gather an international team of in-house professionals at short notice," EM&I Asia Pacific Regional General Manager Peter Davies said. "This project has started the process of EM&I's development of a base in Ghana to support this and other associated projects."

The project has presented its challenges but has been deemed a success on all fronts so far.

"This has been an important and challenging contract where we have managed to meet and exceed the expectations of the key stakeholders while achieving an unblemished safety record," EM&I Group CEO Danny Constantinis said. "We look forward to a successful final outcome and the opportunity to grow our business into Ghana, which fits with our strategic plan for developing our business in West Africa."
