Two multi-million-dollar contracts have been awarded to ITC Global to provide remote  offshore communications to five floating vessels off the coast of West Africa that are owned by European oil and gas companies, ITC said on Monday.

ITC Global is a satellite communication provider with offices and regional headquarters throughout the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and the Asia Pacific region.

"As the industry continues to experience unpredictability, ITC Global has seen tremendous opportunity to improve operational processes and systems, and drive efficiencies for customers," ITC Global CEO Joe Spytek said. "While some oil and gas service providers have responded to recent market dynamics through consolidations and cost cuts, ITC Global is focused on putting customers in the best position to weather industry headwinds and be prepared for growth."

ITC Global's field technicians are all certified through the company and can make sure all equipment is installed and working correctly. Those same technicians will provide technical assistance when needed once the equipment is in place.

"Being able to respond quickly to local customer requirements in key oil and gas regions around the world is the cornerstone of ITC Global's business," Spytek said. "As an International organization, we've built a service culture that understands the meaning of urgency and global responsiveness, and our local presence in strategic regions allows us to deliver added flexibility and effective service to our customers worldwide."
