Guaranty Trust Bank of Nigeria announced last month that Haruna Musa has been selected to serve as the board's executive director.

Musa's banking career began with the United Bank for Africa, and he has worked with FSB International Bank. Musa has been with GT Bank since 2001. Over the course of his career, Musa has had experience with banking operations, compliance and risk management, corporate banking, commercial banking and other areas within the financial sector.
Musa earned a bachelor's degree from Ahmadu Bello University in Zaria and a master's in business administration from Beyero University in Kano. Musa has also earned a degree in finance and management from the Cranfield University in the United Kingdom.
