Gold developer West African Resources Limited released results on Tuesday from preliminary metallurgical tests on the M1 and M3 prospects at its Tanlouka Gold Project in Burkina Faso.

“Preliminary metallurgical test work on oxide samples from M1 and M3 has returned average recoveries of 97.5 percent," West African Resources Managing Director Richard Hyde said. "This demonstrates that oxides from M1 and M3 are amenable to conventional cyanide-processing techniques.

“Heap-leach test work is continuing – including coarse feed-bottle rolls being completed in Q1 2016," Hyde said. “Gold mineralization at M1 and M3 is located less than 2 kilometers from the proposed heap-leach starter pit at M5."

West African Resources' financial statements and test results can be found online at the System for Electronic Document Analysis and Retrieval's website (www.sedar.com) or the company's website (www.westafricanresources.com).
