Lifting Businesses manufacturer Konecranes has received an order for 13 Rubber Tired Gantry (RTG) cranes from Bolloré Group.
The RTGs, which are hydraulics-free and feature a 40-ton lifting capacity, will be delivered in mid-2016 to container terminals operated
by Bolloré Africa Logistics in Cotonou, Benin and Lomé, Togo.
“Our excellent cooperation with Bolloré continues," Antoine
Bosquet, sales director for Konecranes, said. "We have 69 RTGs either
delivered or under production, to container terminals operated by
Bolloré Group in West Africa, and with this new order the total will
reach 82. Bolloré is going from strength to strength in Africa, and
Konecranes is proud to be part of it."
Konecranes supplies lifting solutions to manufacturing and process industries, shipyards, ports and terminals.
